Disable Tap to Click

I have been using my wife's Samsung laptop and occasionally my fat palms drag across the touchpad and the pad confuses the moving of my thumbs as a click.  I struggled to disable the tap to click feature. It was greyed out after right clicking on the shortcut, and after going into the setting of the mouse pad, I couldn't disable this feature.

I tried a number of synaptics drivers (including the most recent one from the synamptic and samsung website. Even the most recent drivers didn't have the disable feature.

So, finally after the hours of frustration, I looked to another driver.  I found the ELAN Smart Pad to be a wonderful way to disable this feature.
